The family of a minor who received life-threatening wounds after being hurled from the 10th floor of the museum have announced their "courageous fighter" has achieved his objective of being able to swim, run, and jump again.

This European boy was aged six when he was hurled from a railing by a adolescent, previously 17 years old.

He, who was traveling with his parents in the summer of 2019 when attacked, lived through a 30-meter plunge but suffered life-changing injuries, like a cranial bleeding and shattered bones.

His family stated in an progress report on a crowdfunding page, they were delighted that he had been able to improve with his jumping, swimming and running before his upcoming surgery.

"He can't do it similar to youngsters of his age, naturally, but we can no longer explain what he does in any other way than by saying it's swimming, running, and jumping."

"It's different, just for a short distance or a low level, but it's an incredible accomplishment."

The boy, who spent many months in critical care, has persisted to build mental stamina.

Parents said although his recall abilities were yet highly constrained, they were effective and improving, so he was "developing a general knowledge at his rate, which progressively allows him to be included with other children."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "Additionally, he is developing, and thanks to his therapy with the physical therapist, he currently enables himself to relax."

"Earlier, to counteract his weakness on the left part, he kept his right-hand side continuously stiff, which caused him pain."

"Now, our growing child (we need to accept reality, he's no longer a child anymore) has realized that he needs to allow himself rests; we need to tell him not as much."

He has also reached a long-term goal with dad: "As we reside a short distance from the sea, they had planned their final goal of taking a picnic at the seaside and then going home."

"After multiple gradual training sessions, they finally achieved their 150-minute trip. They arrived home weary but overjoyed. Goal achieved."

Subsequent to a legal proceeding at the court, the youth was convicted of trying to kill and was jailed in the year 2020 for at least a decade and a half.
